I hope Owers brings his boots tomorrow. We may need him on the bench!

With our shortage of available players, I hope we don't come to regret this.
Sekani has been a great servant to our club and in a way I hope he plays against us on Easter Monday so we can show our appreciation.

Re: Goodbye Simmo...and thanks.
With so few games this season due to injury problems, could be a shrewd bit of business.
Has been a top class player at this level and conference national but could be his best days are behind him? I always thought we should have given him more licence to attack; remember that bit of magic at Rugby - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fjrCdDudw7c - "Oh Yes!
A great servant and worthy of a special mention if he returns for the WSM game.

I am sure he will be ruled out of playing against us.
Great servant and there for the brilliant rise from the Southern League 10 years ago. I remember his goal from distance in the celebration 5-0 win at the end of that season and the stepover which featured on national TV.
I just hope we are not now heading back.
I suspect GO will have a loan player sorted. Can't believe he would let Simmo go otherwise

Great servant and a nice guy, thanks Simmo. Think time has caught up with him injury wise and I think it would have been time to say good bye at the end of the season but surprised it has happened before that.
Did hear that Batten my be coming back but not sure if there was any truth in it, he was at the game last Saturday.

Yes, Jack Batten has been released by Bristol City and re-signed for us.
It will be on the website this evening.

Genuinely one of my favourite City players, am sad to see him go. A go to player who never let us down. Was wondering if his injuries were starting to catch up with him, but I'm surprised we let him leave now (rather than perhaps the end of the season).
All the best Simmo, you star.

Top top bloke. It won't seem the same without him.

I'm sure someone will know, but 6 bookings in 300+ games at the semi-professional level or levels 6 and above, however we want to call it, must be some sort of record and deserve an FA award of some sort?
just a thought....

Really gutted about Simmo's departure. Consistantly good at the back and has been a loyal player for us all these years. Glad to have seen one of his rare goals a couple of seasons ago - not many occasions have I celebrated more at Twerton

Remember his goal v Rugby in the romp week after winning title at Yate. Happy days. Thanks Simmo and very best wishes.

I can't add much, other than I'm really sorry to see him go. Always a pleasure to watch. A model professional full back.

Top bloke and a player who was 100% reliable. Always feel more comfortable with him at the back - even now.
