Gateshead away part two was quite fun. Flew up in the morning, came back on players' coach, which was held up in Birmingham in the early hours following an accident. Marc Canham dropped me back, by the time we arrived in Twerton it was 4.45am and we ended up passing people stumbling home from nights out. And a milkman.

I did actually know someone who flew back from Hong Kong for the weekend to watch Shrewsbury Town lose to Bristol Rovers in the 2007 League Two playoff final, without taking any time off work. That meant taking the Friday midnight flight for 13 hours and arriving early Saturday morning UK time, and then heading straight back to Heathrow after the match to get the 9pm Saturday flight, getting in 5pm Sunday HK time.
