Provided we manage to get a centre back I think our squad has definitely improved, Phillips is better than Mellor, Davies looks better than Stearn, and Nicholson is better than!! Who was our last proper left back, was it Paul Stonehouse.

He says he plays box to box. In the bits of pre- season I've seen him in he's looked better going forward and certainly carries the ball forward well and seems a great passer. Good signing I say.
