Leicester Tragedy Empty Leicester Tragedy

Post by Midsomer-chris Tue Oct 30, 2018 4:13 pm

I don't think anyone can have failed to be moved by the helicopter crash and the deaths of the people on it, including the club's owner. My heart goes out to all the families of people who lost their lives. I suppose because I have relatives who are Leicester City supporters and a few have season tickets, it hit me straightaway when I heard the news on Saturday night. I think it would have hit me anyway because Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha was such a lovely, generous person. My nephew and his partner won a holiday in Thailand that he had donated in a free raffle of season ticket holders. Leicester is a whole city in mourning because he was loved for what he did for the whole community there. What a pity that football cannot have a few more people like him !

Rest in peace Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha
