We played very well and it was only a howler from Case that prevented us getting a deserved draw. We can't get a win because we just cannot get the ball in the mix. Their goalie hardly had a save to make.
Mind you the players looked weary at times and none more so than Jarvis who could do with a rest after all the running about he does.
Basically we need to get more support around Marvin. Too often he has to do it alone.
Straker was excellent and deserved MOM but so was Dan Ball. Riggy also had a terrific game (as I've said before I do like him at RB). The new lad on the wing looked a good prospect too. If he could enable Watto to play closer to Marvin then things would be looking up.
Overall though well done to the team for a fine display - if not the result.

Gutted with the result tonight.. The game changed in 30 second half seconds. Kaid fluffs his connection at one end and then Ryan Case fluffs a back pass. Prior to this we were well worth a point and I thought we could go on and win it when Dartford went down to 10 men. Dartford were well organised and good on the break but we matched them. Our goal came from a great bout of crisp passing but we have problems with the quality of the final ball into the box. What has Dan Ball got to do to win man of the match tonight? Tackled as if his life depended on it and distributed the ball intelligently.

Some lovely passing and still on the up in terms of improvement.
Need to shoot more and win some games. Points make prizes.
As an aside I thought JGs programme notes were an excellent read. I guess I know one of Case's hudl room for improvement items this week.

Thought very good game draw would of been fair . Backpass was a schoolboy error .

5 points lost over two games at home is really not good. I have been impressed by Smith and Rigg and, last night, by Edwards. It is noticeable from the loanees that they are putting in good passes that aren't being read by their team-mates so perhaps there will be more incisiveness when everyone has more of a chance to get used to each other. Mind you, Smith isn't here for that much longer. Perhaps his spell will be extended.
