New player

Sutton and National South forums indicating right back Kevin Amankwaah signing for City. GO has previously been after him.

"Amankwaah was at the centre of controversy when he made a remark to Milwall player Neil Harris, taunting him about his battle with testicular cancer during a match between Millwall and Swindon. Amankwaah then apologised after the game after his remark was made public, and also made a donation to Everymans Cancer Charity. Harris accepted the apology at first but then withdrew his acceptance after Amankwaah tried to justify his claims for making the remark."

Quality

Inconsistent start to the season - injuries etc means need more strength and quality.

I guess some will move on.

I was really disturbed by the Gloucester performance. Good to see GO not letting it lie.

Interesting signing if true - he played for Sutton as recently as the Saturday before last and was unused sub in the next game.

Will be interesting to see where he plays, but at 35 is perhaps a short-term fix.

According to Sutton website has definitely left them to move to something closer to home. Chippenham then!

I'm sure he's Bristol based because he used to travel to games with Ross Stearn.

Arch tried to sign him a couple of years ago.

Official now.

Anyone who follows Sutton's photographer on Twitter (probably only me) would have seen him wish Kevin good luck at City on Saturday morning!

So will we also adopt the Sutton chant 'Who's that coming over the hill, is it Amankwaah?'
