Meet the Manager evening

Post by comrade powell on Wed Oct 26, 2016 11:49 am

The Supporters Club have arranged with Gary Owers to hold a Meet the Manager evening on Friday 4 November, starting at 7 pm in Charlie's. This will be an opportunity for supporters to ask Gary questions and hear his views.

All supporters are very welcome to attend!

Does anyone know if this event is going to be live-streamed anywhere? I will be away in Spain but want to see what he has to say. Thanks

Are we able to suggest questions?

I can't make it unfortunately.

I don't know about live streaming, but I'm quite happy to read out any questions which are pm'd to me provided you are happy to have your name included.

Some very honest and interesting points made by Gary tonight.
Many thanks for organising.
For those who were considering coming I would definitely recommend for next time.

Anything in particular?

I haven't been to one for nearly five years since Adie and Arch were crucified by one or two people for a recent poor run of form.

Do not forget Archie's VERY poor attitude to fans, which has been evident on other occasions since then.

One of the members of the Bid team who was new to the club 18 months ago suggested the redevelopment of the ground should include a Bury the Hatchet Garden....

I have no hatchet to bury. While I agree fans gave him a bad time, he only had himself to blame. Bath City fans can be very forgiving.

Not really. Answers to questions were illuminating and a number of interesting anecdotes. More 'An evening with Gary Owers' than straight q&a.

It was filmed, so guess will be available on romans on demand.

Haven't been to one since somebody berated Adie Britton for not taking the Somerset Cup seriously!

Enjoyable evening, thanks to those who organised it and Ross for doing a grand job as MC.
