Just to mention the FA Cup once more.
I never really believed in the FA Cup myth, when journalists liked to call certain clubs 'A cup team'. I could be wrong but it does not seem logical really. But Bath City could be called an Anti-Cup team.
Our record since joining Conference/National League
2016 Lost to Potters Bar - 2 leagues below
2015 Lost to Harlow - 2 leagues below
2014 Lost to East Thurrock - 1 league below
2013 Lost to salisbury - 1 league above
2012 Lost to Gosport - 1 league below
2011 Lost to Dagenham - 1 league above
2010 Lost to Swindon Supermarine - 2 leagues below
2009 Lost to Forest Green - 1 league above
2008 Lost to Aylesbury United - 2 leagues below
2007 Lost to Torquay - 1 league above.
Taken as a whole this is a poor record. I'd like to know if there is a club faring worse.

All clubs go through spells without cup success, but what is particularly damning from the above is our record in the past three seasons. Something which needs to be underlined to the players next September.

It occurs to me that lower league teams are always up for it and we just play the same. Another day at t'mill mentality.
Do the players get a bonus for cup wins? I think they should. Given the benefit of getting further financially I think they should get half of the cup money as a bonus spread amongst the squad and management. That would really be an incentive and the club would benefit from bigger games the further we went.

I'd certainly say they do. The increasing prize money means clubs in better position to incentivise success.
