City win 9-0

Very impressive win for the Under 18s in the FA Youth Cup tonight, seeing off Bishop Sutton 9-0. They look a genuinely good, slick footballing side despite (presumably) being a relatively new group. If you're not coming to Hemel on Saturday I highly recommend taking in their morning match at Twerton Park.

Goals from the game

The goals look well taken and, you are right, the passing looks good. You have to feel sorry for the Bishop Sutton lads but it would be good to see some of these lads progressing through.

Yate away in the next round

We saw Saikou Jenneh, the lad who got five, at Cadbury Heath in the cup the other week, and he clearly had a lot of promise. We were chatting with their manager about the lad, and he couldn't speak highly enough of him.

He was a bit rough and ready, but he ran his heart out and loved having the ball at his feet.

I'm glad we're having a look at him, because at 16 there was a lot about him to like. But this also begs the question, and you play for two different clubs in two different FA Cup competitions at the same time?
