Logging in problems
Sorry to post this here and happy for it to be moved...
I can't log in to the forum on my phone. When I try it instantly takes me to some advert or somewhere on my App Store. Works ok on my laptop. Anyone else suffering with this?

Re: Logging in problems
I don't have a phone thingy, and hope I never will. A friend of mine who is a technical wizard in one of the top IT security companies in the UK says they are the easiest things to hack.
Junior, you may have a hack that directs your phone to somewhere else whenever you try to get into the Forum. Usually these hacks are to a specific place, is yours going to a different "advert in your app store" or the same one? Alternatively, it could be just a fault.
PS: Sorry to use emoticons (I know you don't like them) on this genuinely serious issue but I am what I am.

You've not been hacked.
Game advert placed over the username/password form fields on yours? Quick way around is to scroll to bottom and switch to mobile version, log in on that and switch back to desktop version

I've had the same thing Mark. If you login through the mobile version of the site then change back to desktop it seems to get round it.

All resolved, thanks Dave and Ash. Now I can go back to hacking all your accounts...

Re: Logging in problems
I can't see 'mobile version' when I 'scroll to the bottom' on this desktop version - so, how does it work?
