Definitely an Aguero moment, but did it beat Birkby's?
Can anyone think of such a decisive goal for us being scored so late in a match as Harvey's yesterday?
And regarding its quality, would people rate it better than Birkby's, which won the best City goal of all time award in a poll a few years ago? (that was down to there being no cameras present at Weymouth on Boxing Day '77... )

If Harvey is Auguero, does that make Chas our Balotelli for setting him up?

It wasn't just the quality but the sequence of events over the four minutes AND so important with the current situation.
I also can't forget the 2010 play off semi at home and Hector Mackie's goal to give us a 2-0 advantage for the second leg, again so important.
Cameras not needed with the photographic memory of those present at Weymouth 77, not important as we scored SEVEN.
(It was December)

I've edited my post - Sir Richard's masterpiece was in '77.

Hard to compare with Birkby's as that was from much closer range - did remind me of the goal that Paul Randall scored from the Popular Side touchline against Northampton in the F A Cup some years ago. Difficult offhand to think of a late goal that has had such significance as this one.

Simply one of the best Bath City moments I have ever witnessed....and I have seen a few over the years!
'Cometh the hour...cometh the man' I think the saying goes so lets hope the euphoria created gets us safely through the next few weeks, because we still have a long way to go yet before we can look upon this goal as a pivotal moment.
However, it was certainly a crazy 3 minutes though and I have replayed the 'You Tube' clip quite a few times today and it still makes me think.......wow that was really special!

I can't see it being beaten as goal of the season.

True, but it wasn't quite so late in the game. I really can't think of one.

Birkby at Chippenham?...
Not a patch on yesterday's win though.

Didn't Chippenham equalise very late then we kicked off and scored? Long time ago now so the memory might have changed!

Yes, Charlie Griffin equalised on 92 mins. We went up the other end, Andy Williams' cross palmed out to Dean Birkby who slammed in. City fans went wild, Fraser inadvertently punched Dave Edler in the face.

If it had been in the 26th minute against Gosport in October or something, I'd place it second behind Birkby's bicycle kick. I will happily say though that given the moment and the circumstances Monday's winner is the best goal at Twerton Park in my lifetime.
Oh, and Junior is almost due an ode

To match it for wild celebrations was Birdy's goal that just trickled home v Chipp. That was the loudest roar from the fans I can remember. Possibly Paul Bodins equaliser at Bristol City in the cup. That was a pretty special goal at the death.

Yes, Kaid's at Ebbsfleet, Birkby's at Chipp, Partridge's at Barnet and Bodin's at Ashton were all at the death, but were they in the 90th minute plus? I think Kaid's was. Junior, please provide the times and then I'll contact Bear for the ode!

Meanwhile, the Romans On Demand clip has gone viral. Thenusual number of views are between 100-300, but this one had hit the 100,000 mark and it's still charging.
There's been a featurette on the Mirror website this morning, and I've seen it mentioned or linked on a few football sites from around the world. Even mates who rarely express an interest in football have been messaging me remarking upon it.
I've certainly not seen a more exciting three minutes of football at any level.

Hugely valuable to the club to have that bit of history recorded for all time !
If the 6mins video could be trimmed down to just the 4mins of high drama, I think it might get even more views ? (people are so attention deficit these days !).
I sent it around a few people and told them to watch from 4mins in to see a Beckham-esque wonder call. Some will have looked at the whole thing, some just the winning goal.
