Adelsbury's gone....Ho hum.
On City Website now.....can't say I'm too bothered....Lord knows what the "undisclosed fee" came to.....maybe it will cover the cost of rebuilding the main stand.....or maybe not.

No point keeping players who don't want to play for us. I'll remember that goal at Sutton last season for a long time

An ok squad player but our midfield was bound to be iffy with him as a regular fixture. Maybe all the travelling was too much for him and a more local club will suit him better. Hopefully we will reflect on the wisdom of emptying non local players.

If we have managed to find someone willing to pay any sort of money to take him that has got to be a good deal.

You can't blame him for wanting to go. Hadn't made the most appearances this season so a long way to drive to warm the bench. Interestingly he has played more than Chas this season.......

It will be interesting to see if he becomes a regular at Truro as it would still be a long drive to warm their bench. Maybe they have a thin squad but I can't remember him out shining any of their midfield in the Boxing Day match. Still, I'm not complaining...

At least it wasn't a totally wasted evening if we managed to offload him.
Never really understood the point of him. Doesn't command midfield and break up attacks and doesn't score / create enough.
I am encouraged by this move from the new manager as he would have been the first to be shown the door had my application been successful. Just taking up a shirt in my view.
<Cue him becoming NLS player of the season and score a hatrick in their play off final>

I get the feeling that the move was more down to Truro and the player's wishes than ours...

If that is the case, I'm pleased we don't appear to have opposed it or objected.

Ben has some skill but he reads the game more poorly than almost anyone I've ever seen.
The worst I've seen was a lad called Cuevo who played for Swindon. I shouted at Steve McMahon to take him off and he did so immediately. Swindon were three one down at the time and pulled it back to three all. Cuevo was never seen again.

Presumably you were the Swindon owner at the time!

No but I'm very sure the Swindon owners heard what I said as well. As did most of the people in the stand. McMahon didn't last very long after that either.

By the way most Swindon fans watch in silence.

Nice one Dusty....he tried hard but in my opinion a bit limited at this level....Truro obviously see something in him...bet he starts banging em in for them!!!

I think we got the best out of him last season. Despite staying fit for most of this one he hasn't reproduced last year's form, maybe not helped by long lay off in the summer. Still, a decent guy and I'm sure he's pleased to see the back of the travelling.
Won't forget that goal at Sutton, but I'll also sadly not forget him dragging a shot wide in stoppage time at Ferriby which would have taken us to Wembley. Was one of those moments where everything seemed to go in slo-motion.
